Sunday Worship
Sunday mornings are exciting here at Firewheel. Children praise God through song, worship and exploring His word.
Infant thru 24 Months
Our volunteers love working with this age group. Sunday's consist of singing, rocking and lots of love. We want to do our best to accommodate parents with children in this age group. Prior to dropping off your child in the classroom volunteers will request that parents fill out a sticker to better acquaint them with your child. This allows volunteers to provide the best care possible for your child while you are away.
Preschoolers Ages 2 thru 5
Your preschooler will love coming to church. We have designed a program that's full of life. Singing, puppet shows, crafts, story telling, and skits are only a few of the tools used to introduce children to the Word. The Bible truly comes alive on Sunday's and you will be amazed at what your child will not just learn, but retain!
Elementary
There isn't a better way for your child to begin the week. Our Elementary program is multidimensional so that your child is sure to get engaged. Through Bible stories, dramas, praise and worship, and exciting activities our Sunday morning program educates, but then goes a step further. We teach children how to take what they have learned and apply it to their everyday life. Children participate in large and small group time so they have the opportunity to get connected with their peers and teachers. This is a great place for your child to plug in and develop their own personal relationship with God. If you attend the 9:30am service, please bring your child with you to the service and we will dismiss them to their classes with a Mission 22:6 volunteer.
5th Grade
Each week preteens get an attention-grabbing Bible lesson that will prompt them to dig further into the Bible.
* Preteens meet at 11:00 a.m. only
Children's Check In for Visitors
As a visitor on Sunday morning please stop by the information desk in the lobby so that we can personally escort you to the Children's Check In area. Here you will fill out a guest card, be issued a security tag, then you and your child will be escorted to the age appropriate classroom. Our goal is to make both parent and child feel welcome and at home in an unpretentious environment.
A Note to Parents
Parents are invited and often encouraged to stay and experience M22:6. We want you to be as excited about the program as your child. We strive to keep parents current on all things happening in Children's Ministry. The better informed you are as a parent the more opportunities you will have to communicate with your child about Christ.
